You might have noticed the facelift around here. This was brought to you by a wildly successful experiment of Nate unleashing Claude Code to build a website with pretty much all vibes. Some very specific design stuff was dictated but most of the coding legwork was Claude.
The setup is more technical which scratches that itch Nate has had lately (he’s uninsured so can’t get it looked at). The site is built with the Astro Framework, so content is all controlled by Markdown files. He has it all setup through Nova, where he can run and build/deploy the site on a whim. Jeff and Nate got their systems hooked up with SSH access, with public/private keys and everything. Nate can run a deploy script and spit out new updates to the site (oh, which is hosted on the BadCow server in Jeff’s basement).
Lastly, the Live Map status above is hooking into the Status Page, and the main server widget uses Minecraft Server Status, which is “nifty,” which is a technical term. Okay Nate should stop speaking in 3rd person now.
